Biography

Susan Snyder, a native San Diegan painter and printmaker, began her professional career in 1981 after attending the San Francisco Art Institute and San Diego State University (BFA). In subsequent years, Snyder's work has been recognized both nationally and internationally through exhibitions in California, Texas, New Mexico, The U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, and Japan. Her work can be found in both corporate and residential collections. Snyder works primarily in oil, acylic, and mixed media (incorporating gold or silver leaf), and collage on canvas and metal.

These vivid works employ subtle imagery, suggesting deeper meanings. Viewing them you are compelled to linger, as they seem to pull you into her dream.
